Celine Kon

During my fifth period at Sint Joost, I followed the program 'Boek in Beeld.', which was based on a selection of books that we could pick from. We had to create various artworks based on the novel we picked, focussing on communicating the content of our book through art. During this term, I read the book Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.

During this period, we had to create multiple works based on the content of the book. We had to animate a book trailer, illustrate a comic of a scene from the book, and design our own version of the cover.

In the book, there were several references to Japanese artists. When I created my version of the book cover, I tried to imitate the style of Yoshitomo Nara.
